For accountants and firms
Every client's quarterly estimates, from one dashboard
Both official IRS methods computed per client in minutes, with worksheet entry built for people who already know what goes in each field.
The quarterly workflow, compressed
Add the client
One record per client, carried quarter to quarter and year to year. Prior-year figures stay on file for the safe harbor math.
Enter the worksheet
Direct box-by-box entry, no guided interview. Wages, Schedule C, K-1 income, capital gains, rentals, withholding, and payments made.
Compare both methods
Safe harbor and annualized income computed side by side, with the lower required payment recommended and the report ready to send.
What you hand the client
Every calculation produces the artifacts a client engagement actually needs.
Quarterly PDF report
The full calculation, both methods, line by line. Your work product for the client file.
Filled 1040-ES vouchers
Payment vouchers generated per client and per quarter, ready to mail with a check.
Form 2210 with Schedule AI
The year-end package that makes an annualized position defensible at filing, assembled from the saved quarters.
Numbers that hold up to review
The engine implements IRS Publication 505 directly. Self-employment tax, the Additional Medicare Tax, NIIT, capital gain treatment, passive loss limits, and carryovers, computed per client rather than approximated.
Rates, brackets, and wage bases come from the year's IRS revenue procedures, not a third-party summary. Every report shows the math line by line, so you can tie each figure back to the source yourself.

Questions accountants ask
Do my clients need their own accounts?
No. Clients are records in your workspace. You enter their numbers, run both methods, and keep every quarter on file. Nothing is sent to a client unless you send it.
Is the math different from the individual product?
No. The engine is identical on every plan, both official IRS methods from Publication 505 on every client. Pro and Firm add client volume and per-client records, never a different calculation.
What happens when I pass 10 clients?
Pro manages up to 10 clients. Firm is the same product with the cap removed. Upgrades take effect immediately and Stripe prorates the difference.
Can a client send me their own numbers?
Yes. Any client using Simple Estimates themselves can share their quarterly summary to your email in one click, on every plan including Free. You review the numbers without re-entering their year.
Does it do state estimates?
Federal is the full calculation. For state, the engine produces the state safe harbor payment figure only, not a complete state calculation. If a client needs the full state computation, that part stays in your existing workflow.
Can I evaluate it before paying?
Yes. A free account runs the complete engine for one taxpayer, so you can tie out a real calculation against your own workpapers first. Paid plans add the client volume and per-client records, never a different calculation.
Is client data private?
Client data is never sold and never shared with third parties. SSNs are never stored anywhere. A Social Security number is asked for only at the moment a payment voucher is generated, used once, and discarded.
